2nd Quater, 2008 – AUIC Named as "RRG Power 50":
Captive Review, an international guide to specialty insurers, ranked AUIC as 28th to its “RRG Power 50” listing in its most recent publication (May, 2008).

In the article titled “So who are the movers and shakers driving the risk retention group industry?”, Captive Review ranked RRGs in order of financial prowess weighted heavily toward the amount of premium written and also incorporating assets and surplus, The ranking was then presented to a panel of experts for subjective nominations.

Captive Review named AUIC as one of three RRGs that made the Power 50 because it is a leading alternative insurer within its industry. In addition, AUIC was the only vehicle service contract insurer listed.

1st Quater, 2007 – AUIC Completes Its Move to Nevada!

AUIC, recently completed its move and transition to the State of Nevada. As one of many Risk Retention Groups (RRGs) domiciled in the state, AUIC was the first to complete a transfer of its insurance operations from Hawaii.

With our new Home Office in Las Vegas, AUIC will realize additional operating efficiencies in proximity to our Administrative Offices in Greenwood Village, Colorado. As an additional benefit from the move, AUIC will be regulated by the Nevada Division of insurance which has a reputation for prudent, fair, and flexible oversight.

 AUIC recently joined the Nevada Captive Insurance Association (NCIA) and has agreed to support Nevada’s captive insurance industry in legislative, regulatory, service, and other matters that promote the successful formation and operation of captive insurance companies in the state.
